    Salary/ Wage: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour


    Shift: Second & Third, Monday – Friday


    Job Summary

    The purpose of this employee is to be a leader in the Shipping-Receiving department of the facility. This individual with coordinate all out-going product shipments and any in-coming raw materials working with all departments of the plant and all outside logistic companies coordinating on-time shipments and securing necessary internal and external raw material suppliers. Will guide and direct the work of any employees in the department and load and unload trucks as necessary.

    • 4-years experience in a Materials Supervisory role of Shipping or Receiving, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
    • Excellent Communication skills required — presenting information to individuals and groups, listening and responding to others.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills required. Excellent Interpersonal skills required– ability to develop and maintain relationships with others, encourage teamwork and cooperation.
    • Good Computer skills in Office, WORD, email, ADP or similar



    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Supervises workers who confirm and record the receipt of shipments, prepare items for shipping, and load and unload trucks.
    • Must be able to work towards deadlines, ensure safe material handling
    • Maintain records of company trucks and licensing
    • Provides appropriate equipment and racking to ensure the safe production of all materials.
    • Researches equipment to ensure procurement of the most suitable equipment in terms of performance, safety, reliability and cost.
    • Confers with plant management to establish production and quality control standards and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of products ordered
    • Contact maintenance and discuss equipment that needs updated or fixed to increase efficiency, quality and reduce cost
