The Salesforce Developer/Administrator will be responsible for the continued integration of systems and support throughout the organization, maximizing the use of Salesforce.com features and efficiencies, implement and configure system upgrades, and administration. This role is an integral member of the IT team and assists project teams with resolving Salesforce technical issues as well as advising on Salesforce best practices. This role is part administrator and part Salesforce developer. The Salesforce Administrator/Developer will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Work with business stakeholders to streamline processes and knowledge flows, leveraging current Salesforce best practices.
Analyze complex requirements; develop appropriate solutions using out-of-the-box Salesforce functionality to support diverse business needs.
Participate in design discussions and develop solutions in Apex, Visualforce and Lightning with unit tests and documentation.
Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external applications
Perform ongoing Salesforce administration (create accounts / profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.), user permissions, security settings, custom objects and workflow.
Maintain security for Salesforce.com data
Functional knowledge of the Salesforce data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
Manage data import, data cleansing, deduplication, optimization, and data maintenance efforts
Provide training to individuals and user groups within the company
Develop new solutions and Support existing custom applications using Lightning Components and transition existing standard and Visualforce UI customizations to Lightning.
Support users reporting needs across Standard and Custom Objects.
Monitor the IT Helpdesk queue for Salesforce-related issues and requests.
Evaluate existing processes for efficiency and scalability; optimize/refactor code to address issues and increase performance.
Help prioritize requests based on degree of difficulty and business impact.
Must have 3-5 years of experience with Salesforce Development and 1+ years of Salesforce Administration experience
Job RequirementsThis position requires: A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/technology, with 3-5 Years of Salesforce.com experience in Sales and Service clouds. Must have a solid understanding of Roles, Profiles, Permissions and Sharing, be familiar with both Classic and Lightning; experience transitioning Classic interfaces to Lightning, and possess Salesforce Admin and Salesforce Developer Certifications.
