    MULTIPLE WORKSITES: and multiple worksites within Wayne, Summit, Stark, Medina, Lorain, Cuyahoga and Ashland counties.




    JOB DESCRIPTION: Help roofers by performing duties requiring less skill. Assist roofer with repair and replacement of slate, copper and tile roofs. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Cut/attach roofing paper and tile or slate using nails. Load/unload trucks. Lift/carry materials and equipment up ladders. Must be able to climb ladders and have no fear of heights.

    REQUIREMENTS: Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Post-hire random drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Extensive push/pull, exposure to extreme temperatures, frequent stooping, repetitive movements.


    WORK HOURS: The standard work schedule is from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer will offer 40 hours per week. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.


    DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: 4/1/21-12/15/21




    WAGE OFFER: $17.69 per hour. Overtime at $26.54 per hour. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Paid weekly. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company’s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill, and tenure. Workers are paid by check on Friday.




    PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS: All deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law will be made. Employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions.




    BOARD, LODGING, OR FRINGE BENEFITS If needed, employer intends to assist foreign and non-local U.S. workers hired pursuant to this job order to secure optional worker-paid lodging not to exceed reasonable fair market value cost based on number of occupants. Housing-related expenses are paid directly to facility owner/operator and are not payroll deducted.


    DAILY TRANSPORTATION (OPTIONAL) Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated pick-up location. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations.


    FIRST WORKWEEK GUARANTEE Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visas, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).


    Inbound / Outbound Transportation and Subsistence If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $12.68per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00per day with receipts.Transportation reimbursements based on worker’s actual cost, not to exceed the most economical common carrier transportation costs for distances involved. Employer provides or pays outbound travel costs to same workers upon completion of the contract period or early dismissal, except where the worker has subsequent employment.


    Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.


    Single Workweek for Pay The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.


    THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE (Optional)The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
