Description:
The Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities provides transportation to Ida Sue School
students 12 months a year and is ready to train and hire substitute school bus drivers.
The Wayne County Board of Developmental Disabilities will provide paid training to applicants to
acquire a CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsements, or the endorsements required, all
while working as a bus aide. A flexible schedule is provided with morning and/or afternoon routes
available.
Once a CDL license and endorsements have been granted, permanent positions may be available
that provide vacation, personal and sick leave time, as well as OPERS and paid holidays.
