Job Title: Material Handler

Company or Role Overview: Scotts Miracle Gro Manufactures and sells consumer lawn, garden, and pest control products.

Available Shifts: 1st: 5am-3:30pm M-Th                         2nd: 3pm-1:30am M-Th
Friday-Sunday Mandatory OT if running

Pay Rate: $20.00-$21.50 /hr.

Work Environment: Well organized warehouse environment with full-service breakrooms in each building. As a Material Handler you will be working in all types of climates.

Job Description: This consists of building boxes & case goods. Hanging, sealing & stacking finished goods. Ensuring the materials flow through the process consistently & efficiently. Perform all housekeeping duties up to & including re-stacking material, shoveling material from under the conveyors. Assist all full-time associates with misc. tasks.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/rainy weather
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to climb ladders and work on their feet for most of the da
