Seaman Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Representative – XR Geomembrane & Architectural Structures to join our Commercial team! This position will report to the North American Sales Director in Wooster, or in a remote capacity.
POSITION SUMMARY The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving sales and supporting business development efforts for Seaman Corporation’s XR Geomembrane and Architectural Fabric Structures product lines. This role offers the opportunity to be based in Wooster, Ohio, or work remotely, providing flexibility while maintaining close communication with internal teams and external customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Generate new business leads and nurture existing customer relationships through outbound and inbound sales efforts.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team to identify and close sales opportunities.
- Provide product expertise to customers, addressing inquiries regarding the performance, application, and technical specifications of XR Geomembranes and Shelter-Rite® Architectural Fabrics.
- Assist in preparing quotes, managing the sales pipeline, and tracking progress toward sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams including marketing, product management, and customer service to support the sales process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities using Seaman360 software.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to identify new market opportunities.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in industrial fabrics, geomembrane, or related technical sales.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to understand and convey technical information effectively.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and market needs.
