Full Time Monday thru Friday 6:00 Am – 2:00  PM $18.00 per hour

JOB TITLE :  Bead Operator 1ST SHIFT MON – FRI $18.00/Hr.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY – FULL BENEFITS AFTER 90 DAYS

 This job includes all aspects of producing ceramic powder for use at Cerco facilities and, when required, for customer use.

This position requires:

Work is controlled by firmly established procedures, following prescribed instruction, procedure, and practice.

1.      Performs set ups for producing and screening beads.

2.      Mixes and tests material for producing beads.

3.      Producing and screening product within the same shift.

4.      Packing beads and providing a screen analysis of the finished product per skid.

5.      Transferring beads from bake out into plastic bins to keep metal bins free for production.

6.      Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculation of percentages).

7.      Willingness to work in a dusty environment that involves long periods of exposure to high heat

8.       in the summer and extreme cold in the winter.

9.      Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to closely follow both written and verbal instructions.

10.   The ability to lift 55-60 lbs. on a regular basis and, occasionally, up to 100 lbs.

11.   Must be a High School Graduate

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

1.      Operate forklift, electric hand lift, stand-up rider, perform work involving disagreeable working conditions and regularly lifts, pushes, pulls, and moves heavy items.

2.      Read and interpret process sheets.

3.      Candidate should be physically fit as this position involves constant physical effort.

4.      Miscellaneous material handling.

5.      Loading and unloading of trucks.

6.      General housekeeping.

7.      Other tasks as required by Supervisor and other manufacturing departments.

No experience necessary. Full benefits available after 90 days.
