Location: Orrville, OH and surrounding areas in Northeast Ohio
Schedule: Part-time/as needed; hours vary based on scheduled jobs. All days, but we often take
Pay: $20 per hour
Catalyst Cleanouts is hiring dependable General Laborers to assist with residential and commercial cleanouts, estate cleanouts, senior downsizing, junk removal, rental properties, storage units, garages, basements, and similar projects.
Job Duties:
- Remove and carry furniture, boxes, household items, trash, and debris.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and dumpsters.
- Sort items for keeping, donation, sale, recycling, or disposal.
- Assist with packing, organizing, and moving items.
- Sweep completed work areas.
- Follow supervisor instructions and safety procedures.
- Treat customers and their property professionally and respectfully.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Able to perform physical labor, including bending, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, and carrying items.
- Able to independently lift approximately 50 lbs. and team-lift heavier items.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
- Comfortable working in homes, garages, basements, storage units, and other environments that may be dusty, dirty, cluttered, or have strong odors.
- Reliable transportation to designated meeting or work locations.
- Experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train dependable individuals with a strong work ethic.
Additional Qualities: Candidates with driving experience are a plus, particularly those who are capable of operating a truck with a dump trailer or who are comfortable driving a larger box truck. While this is a valuable skill set, it is not a required qualification for the position.
