Job Description: Duct Bank One LLC in Massillon, OH, has a full-time Human Resources Coordinator opening.

 

JOB SUMMARY: The HR Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll support, training coordination, compliance and maintaining accurate employee records. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees and management, helping ensure HR processes are completed efficiently, accurately and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Process employee status changes, including hires, promotions, transfers, terminations and compensation updates.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, employee inquiries and annual open enrollment activities.
  • Support payroll processing by maintaining employee data and ensuring the timely submission of payroll information.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits and HR procedures.
  • Track and maintain records for required compliance training and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, workers’ compensation, disability and other employee leave programs.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Manage unemployment claims and employment verification requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, document management and other HR projects as assigned.
  • Administer employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (minimum of an associate degree).
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing, construction, industrial, or precast concrete industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll and applicant tracking systems.

 

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Primarily in office-based role.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.

Details: Full time. First Shift (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). 40-50 hours/week. Monday through Friday. $20.00 to $24.00/hour.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (minimum of an associate degree). 1-3 years of experience preferred. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
