Job Details

The Wayne County Volunteer Guardianship Association is a not-for-profit program that provides Guardian of Person services to individuals who are residents of Wayne County living in, or in need of, residential care and who are deemed incompetent by the Wayne County Probate Court. The program currently seeks a Program Director to recruit new volunteers, support existing volunteers, manage its website and media platforms, and participate in community related activities. The ideal candidate will have effective oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently, and the capacity to work with and motivate volunteers. This is a part-time position that allows for flexibility. Training for the position will be provided. Interested candidates should send a resume to Board Member Kimberly A. In addition, the Wayne County Juvenile Court is seeking a new director of its Volunteer Guardian ad Litem program. This position is a one year contracted position which would begin Oct. 1, 2026, with the possibility of annual renewal. The successful candidate will recruit, train, and support community volunteers. This position is part-time with annual compensation up to $34,802.40 per year. Interested candidates should send a resume and letter of interest to the Wayne County Probate and Juvenile Court.
