Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wooster, OH, for a Medicare Advisor. The primary responsibilities include advising clients on Medicare plans, conducting consultations, and assessing healthcare insurance needs. The Medicare Advisor will review existing coverage, guide clients through plan options, and provide reliable recommendations tailored to individual situations. Additional tasks include staying informed of current Medicare regulations, managing client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer support.
Must currently hold an active Life, Accident and Health General Lines License for the state of Ohio.
Essential Duties as a full-time Medicare Advisor
- Conduct personalized needs analyses to understand customers’ Medicare coverage requirements.
- Educate and guide customers through available Medicare plan options to support informed decision making.
- Enroll customers in the most appropriate Medicare plans, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally addressing questions and concerns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare regulations and industry trends to ensure accurate guidance.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals to improve customer satisfaction and achieve shared goals.
- Participate in hosting/leading Medicare Workshops for the general public
- Updates the customer file in CRM with a summary of the interaction

Job Requirements
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate and recommend suitable Medicare plans
- Expertise in healthcare consulting to offer comprehensive advisory services to clients
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and Medicare policies, including an understanding of compliance standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients
- 3-5 years of experience as a Medicare Advisor
- Able to navigate multiple computer programs at one time
